The Hospitality Ministry involves both welcoming guests and connecting members to Bible Center. This ministry serves the body of Bible Center Church by greeting people at the door before service, distributing welcome packets to our guests, distributing the weekly bulletin and seating people. These ministers also assist with wheelchairs or escorts to vehicles if needed. The Hospitality Ministry connects people to Bible Center by providing information on ministry events and assisting with event registration.
Bible Center’s Congregational Care Ministry provides prayer and support for members and their families during times of difficulty or life transition.
Bible Center Helping Hands Ministry provides meals and household assistance when needed. The BC Helping Hands Community is managed through www.lotsahelpinghands.com and enables people to volunteer to cook meals, coordinate volunteers and give support to members as needed.
Family and Friends Day is a wonderful opportunity to invite our loved ones to receive God’s word with us. Family and friends are some of God’s most incredible blessings, providing comfort and security throughout our lives. This day is a special day to celebrate those bonds with a powerful message, food and great fellowship.
Our regular fellowship opportunities include:
First Sunday Fellowship takes place on the first Sunday of every month immediately following service. Light refreshments are served and birthday cake is offered in celebration of the birthdays for the month. First Sunday Fellowship is an excellent opportunity for members to meet guests, discuss the days sermon and catch up with friends.
Bible Center’s Annual Church Picnic is held on the first Sunday in August at the Westinghouse Lodge. It is a great opportunity to fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Members bring side dishes, desserts and beverages to share with one another. We enjoy great food, music, games and the company of friends and family.
