Oasis Transportation is a social enterprise designed to meet the transportation needs of non-profit youth serving organizations. Its mission is to, “transport our community to opportunity.” In surveys of Homewood families, one of the top reasons Homewood children did not attend after-school programs is because of a lack of transportation. Oasis Transportation has enabled local nonprofits to reduce their transportation costs and thus increase the resources that they can invest in programs for children.
