Our goal is to make you feel at home.

Here’s some information on coming to Bible Center, whether you’ve been away for a while or are a first-time guest.

Let’s be honest. Before you go anywhere new (especially a church!), there are some things that you want to know. Below, we answer some of the most frequent questions that guests have before they come to Bible Center.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where and when are your services?
We meet on Sunday mornings at our multi-use facility, we call the WARM (Worship, Arts, Recreation & Ministry) Center, located at 717 N. Homewood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, on the corner of Bennett Street and Homewood Avenue (

How long are your services?
About 90 minutes (10:00 am – 11:30 am). That means you can get to brunch before it’s over or be home before kickoff!

What should I wear?
Some people choose to dress up (including suits, ties, dresses, and even hats) and others choose to dress down (think jeans, sneakers, and of course, Steelers jerseys during football season!). The bottom line is we want you to be comfortable.

What are Sunday morning services like?
When you come to Bible Center, you can expect to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome at the front door and upbeat music playing inside. We start with about 15 minutes of singing, followed by a greeting from one of our pastors or leaders. Next, we read a verse from the Bible, receive an offering, share some announcements about upcoming events and pray for our children before they go to children’s church. Our pastor or one of our ministers then shares a practical message from the Bible, for about 40 minutes, on topics like relationships, finances, how to deal with stress, and God’s love for us. Finally, we pray together and conclude the service with handshakes, hugs, and energizing music as we head out the door.

Tell me more about the “offering.”
There is no pressure on our guests to give. We are supported by the generous giving of the people who call Bible Center their church home.

Where can I park?
We encourage our guests to park in our main lot, on Bennett Street. On-street parking is also available on both Bennett Street and Homewood Avenue. We also have permission from our neighbors, the Community College of Allegheny County, and the Homewood YMCA on Kelly Street to use their parking lots on Sundays. If you are still unsure where to park, please feel free to check in with an attendant in our main parking lot and they will gladly assist you.

What if I have additional questions?
Please feel free to call our administrative office at 412-242-4920, option 0, from 8am to 3:30pm EST, Monday-Friday and ask for a member of the admin team. We will be glad to answer your questions. You can also send us an email at
