Why We Give

At Bible Center, we believe that giving is an act of worship and an expression of our faith. Through our tithes and offerings, we honor God and acknowledge His provision in our lives.

When you invest in Bible Center you:

• Help share the Good News (i.e., the gospel) about the Kingdom of God—God’s will being done, on earth like it is in heaven.

• Transform Lives: By helping to educate children, create jobs, train entrepreneurs and revitalize the community (see our outreach programs). [Insert link to the Outreach tab]

• Nurture Spiritual Growth: Through worship services, Bible studies, youth programs, and pastoral care.

 

Tithing

Tithing is the practice of giving 10% of our income back to God through the church. According to the Bible, when we tithe, we acknowledge that everything we have comes from Him, and we invoke His blessings and protection over our resources.

Malachi 3:10 (NIV) says, " 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. 12 “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.
